Time with family=Time well spent!

This weekend we were able to spend time with my cousin Josh. Though we do not see each other often it was so nice to see some family; it gets lonely when they are all thousands of miles away.

No turning back now!

So today I mailed the wedding invites! I guess there is no turning back now; maybe just small changes that most people wouldn't notice. I have to say that mailing the invites was much more exciting than I anticipated because now we are anxiously waiting getting the response cards in the mail!
Which leads me to another thought...Why don't wedding guest mail those cards back? We do not want to call everyone, if we did, we wouldn't add the response card with a self addressed, stamped envelope!

The new facebook?

Scott and I have been inspired by a few good friends who have begun their own blogs to document the happenings in their lives. According to Scott this will be our "new" facebook! I think he could be on to something, with this blog we can share important memories with our closest friends and family members.
